Sept. 28 Walk in the Park to benefit Columbus Fire Department

Columbus Community Hospital (CCH) will host a Walk in the Park Sept. 28, 4:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Columbus. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Columbus Fire Department to purchase lifesaving equipment used during calls. A special demonstration of the Columbus Fire Department’s new drone will take place prior to the walk.

To participate in the 2016 Walk in the Park, contact the Columbus Community Hospital Community Relations Department at 920-623-1280 or stop by the hospital to pick up a registration form. A $20 donation includes participation in the walk, a t-shirt, light up armband, or smart phone carrier and a sub sandwich supper, all provided by Columbus Community Hospital, with 100 percent of the donation going to the cause.

Columbus Community Hospital organizes the Walk in the Park each year to benefit a local cause.
