Columbus Community Hospital's chapel is a non-denominational area, promoting peace and tranquility to all who enter. Funds for the chapel were donated by Sister Kathleen Conlin in loving memory of her parents Bernard and Marion Conlin.chaplain's office is adjacent to the area. The office will be used by clergy when addressing the needs of patients and family members.
The chapel was designed by Zimmerman Design Group and constructed by Vogel Bros. Building Co., Columbus Community Hospital's general contractor for the facility's five-phase construction project. Rick Findora, of Morning Glory Studios in Lodi, created the doors and four stained glass windows, promoting peace to all who enter.
A dedication ceremony was held Monday, March 12. Chapel design committee members Sister Kathleen Conlin and Pastor Robert Moberg presided over the services.
