Infant massage is an ancient tradition in many cultures and has been rediscovered in the West. Clinical research shows that loving, nurturing touch has a lasting positive impact on a baby's emotional and physical development.
Infant massage can be learned by anyone interested in having a loving relationship with babies. Classes are taught to parents and caregivers in a series of sessions. Classes are dsigned for babies from four weeks of age through pre-crawling , but massage can be given to children of any age.
This hands on methong invites each infant to bring up to two adults with them to the class and ensures that you will learn the art of interactive massage to suit you baby's individual schedule, needs and developmental level. The instructor will be teaching and parents/caregivers will be doing all the hands on massage on their own babies.A pure cold pressed grapeseeed oil is ussed for the massage, and a spot test will be done on the baby before you begin.
Cost: $40.00, this includes two sessions.
