Sally Owen is a retired educator whose idea of retirement is serving on the Columbus School Board, volunteering, and exercising. While driving at night was part of her normal routine, she began to notice a change in how she saw car headlights. The lights from on-coming cars seemed to radiate and were extremely bright, which made driving difficult.
She sought help from John Vukich, MD of Davis Duehr Dean and learned she needed cataract surgery. Thanks to Dr. Vukich and the state-of-the-art equipment at Columbus Community Hospital, the surgery went smoothly, and Sally quickly resumed her regular activities within weeks, including driving at night. She had this to say about her experience:
“Prior to the surgery, I was nervous, but each step was explained to me, and I was thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Vukich and Columbus Community Hospital to anyone who is considering cataract surgery. I am delighted that Dr. Vukich practices at Columbus Community Hospital.”
