Columbus Community Hospital Foundation will host its third annual Toasts and Tastes event on Saturday, Feb. 19 at Kestrel Ridge Golf Club in Columbus.
The black tie optional affair includes wine tasting hosted by Wine Maniacs, hors d’oeuvres by Mark’s Market, music, and dancing.
Guests will have the opportunity to sample wines from around the world in eight different varietals, including cabernet, merlot, pinot, zinfandel, red blends, riesling, chardonnay, champagne and white blends. Led by Jeff Cox and Debbie Bertrand of Wine Maniacs, the experience provides tasters the opportunity to discover wines and order them on the spot.
Following the tasting, the evening will heat up with the live band, led by the musical stylings of Joe Hermanson and his band. The group offers up a fabulous musical experience of rock and roll and country.
Tickets are $60 per person and will be available for purchase through Feb. 11 or until sold out. A special rate of $50 per ticket is being offered to designated drivers.
Proceeds from the event will be utilized to assist in the purchase of a new cardiovascular ultrasound system for the Columbus Community Hospital Medical Imaging Department. The system is used by the CCH Medical Imaging staff to assess the heart valves and heart muscles in patients who are experiencing chest pain, hypertension, shortness of breath and other conditions related to cardiac activity.
