Columbus Community Hospital offers a variety of support groups for patients and community members.
Alzheimer’s Support Group
An educational support group for family members assisting loved ones who have memory loss or dementia. The group meets the second Thursday of each month from 10-11:30 a.m. at Columbus Community Hospital. Family members learn more about the disease; share tips, knowledge, and concerns; and discover resources and strategies that can help.

Grief Support Group
Columbus Community Hospital and Hillside Home Care and Hospice offer a 6-week grief support group twice a year. The sessions offer a supportive group of people to talk to, as well as ideas and resources for working toward a healthy resolution of grief. Meetings are confidential. Attendance at all six sessions is required. To register call the CCH Patient and Family Services Department at 920-623-1281.
Diabetes Support Group
Designed for all persons with diabetes and their family and/or support person(s). The purpose of this group is to provide support and education to help face the challenges of living with diabetes, and learn self-management techniques. The group meets once a month January through November at Columbus Community Hospital for one hour. Health care professionals share their expertise by presenting topics related to managing diabetes. I Can Cope

Prediabetes Classes
Do you have prediabetes or are you at risk for developing diabetes? If you answered yes, this is the program for you. Join Renée Davis RD, CD, CDE and one of our Registered Dietitians, to learn more about how to improve your health and reduce your risk for developing type 2 diabetes.
The Prediabetes Program is a two session program. All participants who complete both sessions will receive a free pedometer.
