As the new President and CEO of Columbus Community Hospital, I look forward to working with the exceptional employees and medical staff. I am impressed by the organization’s history of patient and employee satisfaction and am committed to continuing to improve the quality care we provide to you and your family from the moment you walk through our doors.
Phase III of our Master Facility Plan includes major renovations of the 2nd and 3rd floors. Renovations will provide a state-of-the-art Women’s and Childbirth Services Unit, Swing Bed Unit, an expanded EKG, Lab and Respiratory Therapy Unit, enlarged Sleep Lab and Pharmacy. The construction confirms our commitment to the community to provide skilled medical professionals and state-of-the-art equipment in a modern medical facility.
The CCH Foundation recently launched a capital campaign in support of the renovations. The campaign goal is $600,000 and at the time of the campaign announcement $284,000 has been raised. That total includes 100% of the Hospital Board, Foundation Board and hospital leadership team pledging a gift to the campaign. In addition, the CCH Foundation has issued a $100,000 challenge to the community. For every pledge made, the Foundation will match the pledge with an equal gift, up to $100,000. The $100,000 challenge is a result of the many community members who have made donations to the Foundation over time in the form of memorials or honorariums. We are grateful for the community’s support. Your gifts continue to make a difference right here in Columbus.
